Swimming boating and fishing is available in 17 nearby lakes. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has stocked these lakes for the fisherman. Crabbing and Clamming in the Siuslaw River estuary areas is fun for the whole family.

Sand Dunes Frontier & Theme Park offers sand dune tours, ATV rentals and they also have miniature golf. SandDune Fun is abundant in the majestic dunes at the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and Honeyman Dunes State Park including the latest craze Sandboarding.

There's bowling at the Holiday Bowl in Florence, the Florence Cinemas offer first rate movies every day of the year, and the Pioneer Museum provides fun and interest for all ages.
